VP, Revenue Finance Processing
A little bit about our team:
Warner Music's Global Service Center Revenue Team collects and consolidates revenue for the company and works with other service center teams to provide best-in-class services to our global Finance labels and affiliates.
Your role *:
The VP, Revenue will lead the operationalization of our new Revenue operations across the global finance organization including maintaining operational and delivery efficiency, continuous improvement, risk mitigation and resolution. This is an essential role that requires strong leadership abilities to advance our integrated approach and enable continued transformation, innovation and growth for the global Finance organization. The team is responsible for gathering data files, processing and allocating revenue, and assuring compliance with contracts across all revenue streams. The department assists affiliates, working across time zones and with many teams across many countries.
Here you'll get to:
- Oversee ingestion and allocation processes and global revenue for the digital, physical, licensing, broadcast and sync ingestion in SAP
- Onboarding of new DSP (Digital Service Provider) deals and other commercial agreements
- Manage revenue assurance to ensure full compliance on all DSP agreements and escalate where necessary. Including format, commercial terms, liaise with order to cash leads on timeliness of payments.
- Assure that all contracts are recorded and updated in the system timely
- Measure and resolve suspense items
- Supporting RTR team on revenue recognition including advances, minimum guarantees, accruals and breakage
- Assure that all relevant information is processed and available to RTR team as per close calendar
- Work closely with Tech to assure all revenue files and interfaces are routed/functioning as designed
- Manage cross border team across several geographic locations
- Maintain engagement with internal business development and business affairs teams
- Deliver performance in line with KPIs and SLAs
About you *:
- You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations or a related field
- You have several years of leadership experience in a similar position
- You have proven experience building and leading a team and managing customer relationships
- You have an ability to drive change initiatives as required to improve efficiencies and execution on business commitments
- You have an ability to lead service delivery that continuously surpasses client and customer expectations
- You have experience evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement and developing/implementing solutions
- Youare capable of managing data intensive and complex business processes
