RG Consultancy are working with a fast growing security company based in Wilmslow who are recruiting a Management Accountant due to company growth. This is a brand new role and a fantastic opportunity for a driven Management Accountant who would like to progress, grow and develop within the business. The Role

• To support the finance manager with the overseeing and management of the finance department
• Monthly preparation of management accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• Accruals & prepayments
• Preparation of monthly packs for directors and business managers
• Balance sheet reconciliations including inter-company accounts
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
• Support in the development and training of an assistant management accountant

The Person

• At least 2 years experience as an assistant/management accountant
• Part qualified CIMA or ACCA and studying/finalist is preferred
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent attention to details and accuracy
• Use of SAGE would be an advantage but not essential
