Job Description
Position Summary and Responsibilities
The Treasury team in Chelmsford has responsibility for Teledyne's UK activities together with
other jurisdictions across EMEA and APAC for the e2v business unit. Treasury are responsible for managing the liquidity of 60 bank accounts across various currencies including balance sheet currency hedging, intercompany loan interest, automated and manual payments via on line banking platforms, posting cash to the GL, bank reconciliations and bank administration.
Fast paced environment requires efficiency and strong organisation skills, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail and an ability to prioritise tasks effectively and adapt to daily challenges.
This role is office based with a minimum of four days a week on site.
Responsibilities
- Posting cash across numerous entities in various currencies and completing associated bank reconciliations.
- Preparing and co-ordinating payments via on-line banking systems including fortnightly payment runs.
- Management of mailbox and ad-hoc query resolution
- Period end activities e.g. bank reconciliations, review and clearance of control accounts etc.
- Administration of bank guarantees
- On line banking systems administration and bank guarantees
- Audit queries
Qualifications
- Working towards AAT or experience in an accounting environment
- Strong Excel skills
- ERP systems experience, ideally SAP, IFS or XA
- Experience of on line banking systems would be advantageous
