We are partnering with an innovative and high-performing private equity firm which is looking to hire a Fund Accountant into their finance function. This position sits within a lean team and will allow for a wide breadth of responsibilities across finance including fund finance, financial statements, investor requests and stakeholder management. This is a huge opportunity to join an incredibly impressive private equity firm and attain a breadth of exposure across the finance team. What the job involves

• Assisting the finance team with preparation of financial statements, and period end journals
• Recording bank transactions and performing regular bank reconciliations
• Fund accounting
• Assisting FD with ad-hoc investor requests
• Numerous ad-hoc elements across the finance team - lots of exposure

Who we are looking for

• Qualified or part qualified Chartered Accountant
• Accounting or bookkeeping experience
• A sound understanding of the fundamental principles of accounting
• Thoroughness and a meticulous attention to detail
• A high level of professionalism
• Energy and drive
