SF are proud to be supporting our fantastic pharmaceutical client through a period of growth and as such, are on the lookout for an interim management accountant.
This role will be to start the first week in September so immediate availability is required, with interviews to take place on the 29th and 30th of August and you must be able to commit to this assignment until the end of January 2025.
Temporary assistance is required to support the growth of this organisation as they nurture a start-up business. Duties to consist of:
- Managing accounts of small start-up: producing financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries etc.
- Assist in the production of the annual budget and periodic forecasting
- Day to day support for all BAU functions (including all aspects of finance)
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Support and training of an existing staff member
- Implementing processes to deliver desired outcomes
The successful applicant will have a solid background within a management accounts role and have the confidence to suggest and implement new procedures, whilst guiding and training a member of your team.
You will also not be afraid to get stuck in and complete other general financial duties to support to the day to day running of the business getting involved with things such as credit control and general accounting.
Hybrid working is offered with 2 days working from home and for the right applicant a part-time/4 days per week candidate will be considered.
You will be part-qualified & ideally have experience working for a small business.
