Role: Management Accountant

Reporting to the Senior Manager Accounting and Tax, the main purpose of the role is to provide support to the wider Finance Accounting team, in the production of accurate and timely reporting.

How You'll contribute to the mix:

-Assist with preparation of monthly Management Accounts (UK & Ireland)
-Assist with Year-end audit and Statutory Accounts preparation
-Assist with Tax work & Projects
-Assist with preparation of Group Accounts
-Process improvement projects
-Fixed Assets
-Production of internal/external month end reports
-Balance sheet reconciliations
-Pre month end P&L account review
-Group Planning assist with preparation of forecasts and budgets
-To carry out any other tasks commensurate with this post

Can you supply our essential ingredients?

-Previous financial & management accounts experience a necessity (Minimum 2 years)
-Studying towards accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
-Good working knowledge of sales, purchase & general ledger principles
-Advanced Excel skills.
-Excellent communication skills ability to communicate appropriately at all levels.
-Continuous Improvement mindset
-Ability to motivate self to achieve deadlines.
-Professional and confident manner (able to work at all levels)
-Flexible, can-do attitude
-Comfortable working independently and in teams.
