We aim to provide a high level of service to all clients and advisers that we have relationships with and in doing that this creates a diverse role where no two days will necessarily be the same. In this role you would be responsible for primarily supporting one Investment Manager, however this may broaden, and within that support you would provide an essential investment support role which includes a wide range of tasks. One of the key functions of the position will be the creation and input of dealing instructions by using Excel and our dealing system, Excel skills are essential. The position will also include assisting in the generation of investment proposals, reports and assisting in the Investment Manager to maintain the highest level of service to clients and professional connections. We are looking for someone who works well in a team, enjoys learning and carrying out a wide range of tasks and had good attention to detail.

- To support the Investment Managers professional connections and assist in responding to non-technical emails/phone calls and to help enhance the service offered.
- Under supervision (until knowledge/experience is built), provide clients and/or their advisers with information and reports about their portfolio. An Investment Executive may not initiate investment advice or provide investment management services.
- To assist the Investment Manager in the production of client presentations and proposals for existing and potential new clients.
- To ensure all duties and tasks are completed within all relevant rules, compliance regulations and in-house policies and procedures.
- To undertake dealing transactions under the guidance and supervision of the Investment Manager(s). A high level of proficiency in excel will be key to this task.
- To prepare and provide clients and/or intermediaries with information and reports as required.
- Form effective and efficient relationships with other team members to enable the smooth running of team procedures, especially in the absence of other team support and the Investment Managers.
- To ensure all duties and tasks are completed within all relevant rules, compliance regulations and in house policies and procedures.
- Tasks and duties include:
- Answering phones, dealing with queries from clients, taking appropriate messages
- Client correspondence of standard letters
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations
- Organise production, checking and despatch of valuations and client packs
- Liaise with operational departments to ensure that data errors, transactional delays and any other operational problems are dealt with. Act as liaison point for IT, Compliance and other support departments, ensuring that problems experienced by team members are addressed and sorted
- Support investment directors in seeking new business, working closely with marketing staff, e.g. preparation of presentations, creation of investment proposals and occasional attendance at client meetings
- To carry out any other duties which might be reasonably requested by their line manager to ensure the smooth running of the client base

- Ideally you will have experience in a similar role within Investment or wealth management
- This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys the investment management support and technical aspect to the role, but is not looking to progress into and Investment Manager role
- You will have your CISI Level 4 qualification
