Management Accountant
SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a large Warwick based business in the recruitment of a Management Accountant.
We are seeking a part qualified (finalist) or qualified accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA who is an accomplished and proficient management accountant.
Key duties:
This role is key to delivering financial reporting including monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and statutory audit deliverables. In addition, it will own the detailed analysis of margin and reporting of key KPI's and trend analysis.
The role supports the budget and forecasting process including devising appropriate assumptions and key drivers.
Key duties:
- Responsible for the accurate and timely production of financial reporting for a specific division including, but not limited to, management accounts, management information and balance sheet reconciliations
- To develop the financial process, procedure and risk management to ensure the control environment is robust and in line with the highest professional standards and the needs of the business.
- Responsible for the preparation and submission of statutory year end and half year audit documentation.
- Responsible for the financial integrity of divisions' systems, interfaces with central Finance systems and that these solutions are appropriate for the complexity of the divisions business structure and future plans.
- Responsible for identifying and mitigating all risks to accounting and reporting controls and in supporting the effective upgrade to new financial systems
- To work closely with the wider Finance team and provide financial business support on an ad-hoc basis.
