Top 100 sized Leeds based Accountancy practice are currently seeking an enthusiastic Semi Senior to join the Accounts and business services team and will be required to carry out the VAT, production of Management accounts and also producing yearly accounts all while sticking to relevant deadlines and providing a great all-around service.

The Semi Senior Accountant will have a few years experience within practice using Xero & Sage whilst also having a good knowledge of producing Accounts and assisting with client queries.

Semi Senior Accountant Position Overview

• Prepare sole trader and partnership accounts and corporate tax returns from records on Iris software.
• Prepare limited company accounts and corporation tax returns on Iris software from prime records for review by a Partner.
• Prepare VAT returns from prime records on Sage or Xero where appropriate.
• Liaise directly with clients to obtain the necessary information to complete company accounts and tax returns and VAT returns in a timely manner to meet filing and payment deadlines.

Semi Senior Accountant Position Requirements

• Experience within practice is essential
• Experience using Xero and Iris is advantageous
• Experience preparing VAT and annual accounts

Semi Senior Accountant Position Remuneration

• £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
• Full study support package
• 31 days holiday including bank holidays
• Monday to Friday 9:00am - 17:00pm
