The opportunity

As a Professional Qualification Team Lead, you will have a distinct role supporting Azets UK in dealing with the management, support and administration of all professional qualifications including apprenticeships.

You will report to and support the UK Early Careers Manager to achieve the groups qualification and apprenticeship strategy working with the regional HR teams to support our students to success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Professional Qualifications team, providing guidance, support and development opportunities.
  • Support the UK Early Careers Manager with the development and implementation of strategies to enhance professional qualification pathways and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership team to identify and address development needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the qualification pathways ensuring they meet business needs, implementing changes and improvements where required.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Build and manage Training Provider Relationships
  • Ensure that training providers SLAs are monitored regularly with swift action when these are not being met.

Management Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for the Professional Qualifications team assisting them with day to day queries and providing suitable solutions, escalating where appropriate.
  • Accountable for growing and developing the skills and knowledge of the team, alongside the UK Early Careers Manager you will be shaping their development with a focus on driving accountability
  • Conducting one to ones and ongoing training to ensure team success
  • Support the UK Early Careers Manager with internal hiring within the Professional Qualifications Team and supporting with career development reviews.
  • Be the point of contact for your team members, providing them with the opportunity to develop their skills and enable them to progress on their own journey with Azets.
  • Responsible for the day to day support of our students and managers, providing a first-class experience.
  • Take a collaborative approach focusing on delivering best value to the customer and to the business.
  • Deliver excellent customer satisfaction as measured by NPS and other relevant KPIs.

What are we looking for?
  • Have a sound knowledge of the main professional qualifications at Azets (ACA, ACCA, AAT, ATT, CTA) and a willingness to create knowledge on all others
  • Have experience in supporting similar populations of colleagues, in a learning environment
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights and reporting packs
  • Previous management experience in a similar environment is preferred but not essential
