Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase Ledger:Manage and process purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and prompt payments.
  • Sales Ledger:Handle sales invoices and monitor outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Employee Expenses:Review and process employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Daily Bank Reconciliations:Perform daily bank reconciliations to keep accurate financial records.
  • Supplier Queries:Address and resolve supplier queries promptly and professionally.

Qualifications
  • Experience:Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Education:AAT qualified.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, especially Xero.
  • Strong typing and data entry skills.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional manner and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
