As a part of our continued growth, we are looking for two Junior M&A Analysts to join our business on a fixed-term 6 month contract. Gathering data is at the heart of what we do, and our systems are optimised around your role. You will be fully trained in how to carry out this work.

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals with a strong positive attitude, who want to become a part of an exciting growing start-up.

Responsibilities include

• Maintaining datasets using our proprietary software
• Categorising M&A targets into a relevant industry and sector..
• Checking, editing and writing short descriptions of an M&A transaction.

Qualifications

This role best suits someone with some of the following: -

• a degree or HND in business, library science or a related subject (preferred)
• data entry, cleaning, and analysis experience (preferred)
• an interest in breaking into Corporate Finance
• interest in the interaction between technology and finance
• high attention to detail and accuracy
• logical reasoning

Benefits, Compensation and Working Situation

• 22.5k p/a + up-to 10% incentive scheme/bonus.
• Based in central Edinburgh (CodeBase), with a cracking view of Edinburgh castle. Remote in UK also considered.

• 37.5 hours a week.
