As a part of our continued growth, we are looking for two Junior M&A Analysts to join our business on a fixed-term 6 month contract. Gathering data is at the heart of what we do, and our systems are optimised around your role. You will be fully trained in how to carry out this work.

Responsibilities include
- Maintaining datasets using our proprietary software
- Categorising M&A targets into a relevant industry and sector..
- Checking, editing and writing short descriptions of an M&A transaction.
Qualifications
This role best suits someone with some of the following: -
- a degree or HND in business, library science or a related subject (preferred)
- data entry, cleaning, and analysis experience (preferred)
- an interest in breaking into Corporate Finance
- interest in the interaction between technology and finance
- high attention to detail and accuracy
- logical reasoning
Benefits, Compensation and Working Situation
- 22.5k p/a + up-to 10% incentive scheme/bonus.
- Based in central Edinburgh (CodeBase), with a cracking view of Edinburgh castle. Remote in UK also considered.
- Full training in how a financial data provider builds its datasets.
- Exposure to a wide range of financial events.
- 37.5 hours a week.
- 34 days annual paid holiday (including bank holidays) - pro rata’d.
- Monthly paid-for company-wide lunches.
