The Company
My client is in the construction sector
The Opportunity
My client are looking to recruit a full-time permanent Accounts Manager -£50k p/a dependent to manage their account’s function. The ability to work unsupervised and on your own merits is essential and ideally some experience of working within the construction industry.
Job Summary
* Sage 50 experience is essential, but Xero can also be considered
* Manage and administrate the group accounts using Sage 50 Professional
* Reconciliation of Banks/Loans/Credit Cards
* Construction Industry Scheme administration
* Weekly and monthly payroll (30 people) using Sage Payroll. Allocation of resources to departments
* Weekly and monthly expenses
* Weekly production of creditors reports, management of the Purchase Ledger
* Weekly bank uploads
* Weekly reporting for allocation of costs
* Management accounts
* Consolidated management accounts
* Journals
* Reconciliation of Inter Company balances across multiple Sage Accounts
* Registering of new companies, with Companies House, HMRC, and Sage system set ups
* VAT reconciliations and Returns across the Group
* HMRC & Companies House compliance/submissions to meet multiple Group deadlines
* Management of rental portfolio, recording income and expenditure (Sage 50/excel) and liaising with tenants/agents when necessary
* Year End Preparations to Trial Balance, including calculation and recording of depreciation, asset movements, stock, work in progress etc with detailed reporting to support
* Annual Audit compliance and assistance
Personal Profile
* Qualified or QBE
* Construction experience desirable
