IPS Finance has partnered with a retail company based in Huddersfield to recruit a new role in their commercial finance team.

This a hybrid role with study support.

With a turnover of £80m the commercial accountant role is a highly visible role which reports to the commercial finance manager. The role may suit an AAT or part qualified accountant who is looking to gain more commercial experience and business partnering skills.

The role includes;

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance.
Support the production of accurate and timely financial reports to aid strategic decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
Perform detailed financial analysis to support budgetary control and cost management.
Commercial Support:

Provide financial insights and support to various business units, including sales, marketing, and operations.
Assist in the evaluation of commercial opportunities and business cases.
Month-End Processes:
