Search Consultancy are delighted to be assisting a well established business in North Bradford in the recruitment of a Part Qualified Assistant Accountant.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Part Qualified Assistant Accountant who is looking to study further and progress their career in finance, whilst working within a busy finance team, and alongside a number of part qualified and qualified experts in the business.

This is a varied role which supports the financial operations of the company. You will be responsible for the accuracy of financial statements and information. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Updating and reconciling financial ledgers
Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets for the company
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Variance analysis
Accruals and prepayments
Financial reporting
Preparing financial documents such as purchase orders and bank statements
Verifying company expenses, bank deposits and bank payments
Reporting discrepancies, mistakes or potential fraud to senior management
Complying with financial laws and regulations alongside in-house policies
Researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely fashion

This role is suited to someone who is Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) and wanting to progress further with their qualifications. You will have an eye for detail and be a proactive member of the finance team. You will have experience in the preparation of management accounts and will have had exposure to all aspects of the finance process.
