We are currently recruiting for one of our clients based in Stevenage who are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their growing team on a full-time basis. This role could suit a candidate making their first move from a practice environment, but our client is also open to candidates coming from a commercial background.

Typical duties include:

* Preparing monthly reporting packs and supporting with budgeting and forecasting duties

* Ensuring statutory accounts are completed accurately and in a timely manner

* Implementing process improvements where necessary

* Supporting business leaders with project accounting tasks

* Ensuring deadlines are met when producing financial reports

* Supporting with any audit processes

* Performing any other ad-hoc tasks where required

You will have:

* A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)

* A strong technical skillset and a keen eye for detail

* Excellent communication, both written and verbal

* The ability to manage your own work effectively
