Position Overview:
The Assistant Accountant plays a critical role in supporting financial operations related to sales and pricing. They collaborate with the finance department to develop effective pricing strategies, analyze financial data, and ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.

Position Overview:
The Assistant Accountant plays a critical role in supporting financial operations related to sales and pricing. They collaborate with the finance department to develop effective pricing strategies, analyze financial data, and ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
Responsibilities:
Pricing Analysis:
- Analyze pricing data from industry standards, competitor trends, and historical sales data.
- Provide insights to decision-makers regarding appropriate pricing for products.
Sales Support
- Review and approve sales deals.
- Review and capture trade agreements into the SAP.
- Review and approve purchase orders for customer claims and outbound transport.
- Review and accrue for monthly ad hoc customer spend and perform trade agreement reconciliations.
- Review and accrue for monthly agents commission and perform agent commission reconciliation.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and publish daily sales information.
- Calculate the impact of discounts on profit margins.
- Analyze sales data during and after promotions.
- Assess the effectiveness of different pricing strategies.
- Prepare reports for management for trading term negotiations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong quantitative skills and financial acumen.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Exposure to pricing analysis, sales data, or related areas is advantageous.
