An environmental services leader is looking for a seasoned Senior Accountant to join their mission-driven team on a permanent basis. The main focus of this role is to ensure precise and compliant financial management that supports the company's sustainability and environmental initiatives.

Duties:

• Handle accounting processes up to trial balance with precision and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with Public (PFMA) and Private (IFRS) sector financial reporting standards.
• Prepare and manage detailed financial reports that support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain the integrity of financial data, ensuring alignment with the company's sustainability goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficient financial practices.

Qualifications & skills:

• BCom degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of PFMA and IFRS standards.
• Proven experience managing accounts up to trial balance.
