Calling all school leavers!
Our client, a leading small equipment hire franchise, is seeking the assistance of a Hire Controller. The candidate will be responsible for managing the rental process of their machinery, serving as the primary point of contact for clients both in person and over the phone.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, email, etc.).
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Customer-focused attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage incoming phone calls and walk-in clients.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, advising on machinery selection, and resolving complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Process incoming and outgoing machine rentals efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of rental transactions and equipment availability.
Open new client accounts and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
Maintain regular communication with clients to facilitate repeat business and address any account-related issues.
Conduct regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage stock levels and replenishment.
Liaise with the workshop team regarding spare parts orders and equipment repairs.
Ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues to minimize downtime.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments from clients.
Collaborate with the finance department to resolve any billing discrepancies.
