A leading player in the investment and assurance sector is looking for a seasoned Credit Manager with a passion for SME lending to join their team on a permanent basis. The focus of this role is to manage and mitigate credit risk while driving SME lending growth.

Duties:

• Assessing and analyzing credit applications for SME lending.
• Managing and mitigating credit risk through thorough evaluations.
• Developing and implementing credit policies and procedures.
• Overseeing credit portfolios and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business growth.
• Leading a team of Credit Analysts, ensuring top-notch performance and compliance.

Qualifications & skills:

• Matric or higher educational qualification required
• 5+ years of experience in credit management

Proven track record in managing credit risk and making informed lending decisions
