Finance Assistant
£180 to £200 per day inside IR35 via Umbrella Company
Bridgewater, Somerset (hybrid working 2 days p/w onsite)
The Contract Finance Assistant will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and providing essential financial services. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the company's financial functions during the specified contract period.

The Contract Finance Assistant will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and providing essential financial services. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the company's financial functions during the specified contract period.
You will be responsible for:
- Day to day management of all finance administration with oversight for both internal and external communications
- Day to day processing of customer sales orders
- Day to day management of purchase ledger
- Purchase invoice processing ensuring correct coding of invoices and compliance with purchase orders
- Payment of supplier invoices
- Supplier payment postings
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Day to day management of sales ledger
- Customer receipt cash postings
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- General administrative support to the finance team
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- AAT qualification or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA is desirable.
- Previous experience in a similar finance assistant role.
- Experience in using financial software and systems (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero).
