Assistant Accountant - Salisbury - £26,000 - £28,000 + bonus + benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, a Salisbury based company. They are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join the existing finance team and support with day-to-day accounting functions.

The role will be varied and include:

• Daily Reconciliation of Cashflow
• Posting of all Bank Transactions
• Bank Reconciliation
• Checking of Bank for Received Money across the Group
• Posting of all Bonus Debit/Credit notes
• Petty Cash Reconciliation
• Finance Settlements
• Sales ledger checks

Skills/Experience:-

- You will have previous accounting experience from within a similar role
- Solid bank reconciliation knowledge
- Experience of using Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- A keen eye for detail is a must as large bank payments are put through daily
- You should be confident to speak to Directors and Auditors
