Our team at Dick Lovett are recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to support the Finance and payroll team at our Head Office in Swindon.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of payroll as well as associated reporting and administration through our Employee Management System. This role is an essential part of our team you will be producing critical reports for Senior Leadership Team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of payroll as well as associated reporting and administration through our Employee Management System. This role is an essential part of our team you will be producing critical reports for Senior Leadership Team.
- Offer system support for our Employee Management System including system development
- Reporting
- Support day-to-day Payroll activity including starters, leavers, transfers and variations, sickness and bonuses
- Support annual payroll activities such as audits, P60’s and P11d’s
- Line Manage Finance Apprentice
- Support business projects
We would be keen to meet with candidates with the following experience:
- 2 years or more of experience in a Payroll Accounts position
- Experience in the Motor Trade is preferred
- Experience with Natural HR / Moorepay system would be beneficial
- In depth experience of Microsoft Excel for reporting
- Problem solving skills with the ability to apply logical and critical thinking to develop effective solutions to issues
- Confidence with systems and supporting end users,
- Seeks ways to improve processes
- Experience of line management would be beneficial in this role
- Working to tight deadlines, personally and as a team
