The role reports into the head of finance of a manufacturing business
Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly files
* Analyse data, investigating & reporting on anomalies
* Identification and tracking of gaps in performance
* Involved in budgeting & reforecasting process
* Prepare monthly journals, with reconciliation to weeklies
* Support checking Site monthly submissions are compliant
* Be No 2 when Site Accountant is unavailable
* Complete detailed balance sheet reconciliation

* Motivated self-starter
* Problem solving skills
* Excellent organisation and admin skills with attention to detail essential
* Ability to work as part of a team but also use own initiative
* Work effectively under tight deadlines contributing to a busy and dynamic environment
* Excellent skills with MS Office, particularly Excel
* Experience of working within a finance function in a large organisation
* Experience of working with an ERP system, ideally SAP
* Experience of producing daily and weekly reports to a short deadline; product costing knowledge
* Experience of the FMCG environment
