We have partnered with a fast-paced manufacturing business in Mansfield to recruit a Cost Accountant. Following recent PE investment the business has a strategic plan to increase turnover to £100m in the 12-18 months. They have appointed an experienced Private Equity CFO to support this growth who is looking to strengthen his team.

Salary £40,000 - £50,000p/a

The role of Cost Accountant is a newly created position that will see you report to a recently appointed FP&A Manager. You will be comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and will liaise closely with stakeholders across the business.

Brief overview of

responsibilities:


- Detailed analysis of Gross Margins

- Identify and analyse production variances

- Work with the FP&A Manager on product profitability reporting

- Budgeting and forecasting support for Operations

- Monthly stock reconciliations
