The Role
The Finance Manager will be at the heart of the business's financial operations, driving the management accounting function and supporting strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial analysis, and providing insight that will shape business growth.
Key
Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts.
Partner with department heads to provide valuable financial insight and support business planning.
Drive continuous improvements in management reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing critical analysis and recommendations.
Oversee a small team, mentoring and developing their skills to enhance overall performance.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and financial reporting standards.What We're Looking For:
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with proven experience in management accounting.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally within professional services.
Advanced Excel skills and the ability to handle large volumes of data with ease.
