Are you a qualified Finance professional looking for a new challenge within the education sector? Class People are currently supporting one of the leading independent schools in their search for a financial professional to oversee the financial operations working closely with the Director of Finance and Operations.
With the opportunity to work Hybrid, full-time with a salary of up to £58,000 per annum. Key
Responsibilities:
Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely financial records, maintain accounting systems, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Manage annual audits, liaise with auditors, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including VAT returns.
Provide financial insights for decision-making and long-term planning, supporting the school's growth and development.
What we’re looking for:
ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management, ideally within education or the non-profit sector.
Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, people management, and advanced Excel proficiency.
Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
