Our client, an international Law Firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Director to join their esteemed client in Johannesburg. This role is ideal for a professional with a deep understanding of corporate and international tax structuring and a strong background in handling acquisition funding and complex tax issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice and guidance on corporate and international tax structuring.
• Oversee and manage complex tax issues related to acquisition funding.
• Develop and implement effective tax strategies that align with business objectives.
• Manage and lead a team of tax professionals, if applicable, and ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Utilize an existing portable practice to drive business growth and maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with senior management and other departments to ensure comprehensive tax planning and compliance.

Experience and Qualifications

• LLB Degree, Admitted Attorney.
• LLM in Tax preferred.
• At least 8 - 10 years PQE.
• Exceptional knowledge and experience in corporate and international tax structuring.
• Proven track record in managing acquisition funding and complex tax issues.
• Strong leadership and team management skills; exceptional candidates may be considered to manage a team with our clients existing client base.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
