Accountant
A leading insurance provider is seeking a talented Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their financial records' accuracy and integrity, contributing to their continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS 17.
Provide technical accounting support and guidance on complex accounting issues.
Assist with the implementation and ongoing management of new accounting standards.
Review and reconcile financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and submit statutory financial returns to regulatory authorities.
Identify and assess financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
5-8 years of experience in the insurance industry.
In-depth knowledge of IFRS 17 and its application to insurance contracts.
Strong technical accounting skills and experience with complex accounting issues.
Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
