Are you a detail-driven Accountant with a passion for precision and efficiency?Duties & ResponsibilitiesMy client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Sundry Accountant to join their finance team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, including general ledger reconciliations, forex payments, and bank administration.

This role is based in the West Rand, Johannesburg.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Transactions: Validate and process accounting transactions, including journals, reallocations, and cost allocations in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• General Ledger Reconciliations: Perform and verify reconciliations to maintain accurate and valid financial records.
• Reporting & Administration: Assist in preparing financial statements for dormant companies, fulfill Stats SA reporting requirements, and handle SARB applications for foreign payments.
• Forex Payments: Liaise with financial institutions, and process payments in compliance with company policies.
• Money Management: Estimate daily cash flow, manage interest rate risks, and negotiate the best rates for borrowings and investments.
• Inter-/Intra-Company Accounts: Reconcile and clear debtor/vendor accounts, resolve queries, and escalate unresolved issues when necessary.
• Bank Guarantees & Administration: Handle bank guarantee applications and amendments, maintain records, and support all banking-related administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5 years proven experience in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
