Job Title Intern

The Role

The Interns role will include, but is not limited to, the following key tasks:

  • Social Media - develop communications and 20VC brand on social media. This includes studying all 20VC podcast releases and extracting content that is relevant to publish on platforms including LinkedIn & Twitter. Take ownership of the 20VC Newsletter, regular distribution & subscriber management.
  • Research - harness a data-driven approach to researching emerging sector themes for 20VC deal sourcing.
  • Sourcing - develop insights on new companies being formed and/or gaining traction via platforms such as Product Hunt, GitHub, AppSumo & LinkedIn.
  • Due Diligence - aid the investment team in diligencing investment opportunities. This includes customer research, and product & competitor analysis. Support in the writing and presenting of detailed investment papers.
  • Meetings - join the investment team on calls/meetings with start-ups.
  • General - stay up to date on European deal activity via network and/or publicly available data.

The person we are looking for will:

  • Be good at selling, be able to tell a story and inspire those around you

  • Process Power: Embedded company organisation and activity sets which enable lower costs and/or superior product.
