Key
Responsibilities:
- Daily entry of Accounts Payable (AP) invoices into Stampli/NetSuite and ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Monitor 2-way/3-way matching of invoices with purchase orders and goods received.
- Resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies with external vendors, internal team members, and buyers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and verify invoice accuracy to ensure correct expense recording.
- Apply VAT, tax codes, and partial use tax exemptions to vendor bills.
- Process payments via BACS, ACH, and intercompany methods.
- Propose and manage weekly AP payment runs.
- Monitor and manage the accounting email inbox for timely invoice processing and vendor responses.
- Set up new vendors, organizing and maintaining related documentation.
- Process employee expense reports through Expensify.
- Assist with external audit requests by providing account analyses and support for AP/AR selections.
- Post bank entries into NetSuite and complete bank reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Support systems implementation and process enhancement projects.
- Process month-end Journals, reconcile balance sheets and assist with ad hoc projects as required.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in an accounting role with a focus on AP.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Great attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have:
- Experience with NetSuite, Stampli, Airbase, Ramp, or similar AP automation systems.
- Exposure to US GAAP
- Previous experience in a start-up environment
- Background in SaaS
- Experience supporting year-end audits
