LEAD ANALYST - TRANSACTION REGULATORY REPORTING

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Lead Analyst to join our Markets Transactions Regulatory Reporting team. This role is located in Manchester - HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Identifies and investigates all reporting exceptions and maintains ownership, working with the stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
Participates in remediation activities to drive improvement and automation to the regulatory reporting process and limitation of control gaps.
Works to gain a good understanding of the processes and products within the relevant systems from which regulatory reports are created.
Accountable for the escalation of reporting issues and the inclusion of newly identified items in the respective regional triages.
Conducts data cleansing/remediation activities as required.
Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to remove barriers to successful regulatory reporting implementation.
Ensures daily reporting processes are documented, updated and adhered to when performing daily tasks.
Ensures adherence to our control infrastructure and supports more senior team members in maintaining the appropriate risk culture.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Fluent in English.
Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience preferred; experience in the trade & transaction reporting working for EMEA regulations preferred.
Ability to identify key issues, to summarize them efficiently, and to escalate them in an appropriate and timely manner.
Knowledge on Power BI, SQL or Alteryx is preferred.
No direct reports.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under time pressure.

- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
