We're seeking a future team member for the role of Lead Analyst (Client Facing) - Transaction Regulatory Reporting to join our Markets Transactions Regulatory Reporting team. This role is located in Manchester - HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Implement 'best practices' in terms of meeting our regulatory reporting obligations for both firm and client submissions reporting for EMEA regulations (EMIR, SFTR & MIFID 2) ensuring they are complete, accurate and timely.

Leads and participates in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve the client experience. Helps develop process improvements.
Resolves complex or non-routine client issues or inquires.
Collaboration: Continuous dialogue and open communication with Lead Manager and Group Manager on status of work being completed by supporting teams
Work closely with the Front Office and offer support with client communication and process walk throughs
Understanding the current regulatory reporting governance, controls and architecture in place.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Good communicator, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of regulatory reporting ideally for EMIR, MiFID/ MiFIR or SFTR.
Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Problem solving skills, judgement, and experience to analyze information
Self-motivation, ownership of issues with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using Microsoft packages particularly Excel
