Accounts Assistant

I am working with a local timber frame design and construction contractor, to recruit an accounts assistant to join their team based in Liskeard.

The role:

* Assist with the accounts function of a busy construction company

* Assist with VAT reports and returns

* Assist with CIS subcontractor payments

* Dealing with/ chasing large payments and billing large sums

* Assist with the payroll process payroll, invoicing and applications

* Setting up new starters to the company

Suitable candidates:

* Experience is required, within a similar industry would be preferred

* AAT accredited or working towards

* Must have experience with payroll, CIS payments & purchase ledger

* Experience using Sage and/ XERO

Additional Information:

* This is full time position based in an office in Liskeard

* Offering a salary of £25,000-£26,000 depending on experience and qualifications

* Monday to Friday ; 8.30am - 5pm with an hour for lunch
