This Audit & Accounts Senior role offers significant client exposure, leadership responsibilities, and a clear path for career progression. Essential Candidate Requirements:
* ACCA/ACA qualified, nearing qualification, or qualified by experience (QBE)
* Solid experience in general practice with strong commercial awareness
* Motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Strong organisational skills and a collaborative team player
* A valid driver’s license and access to personal transport are required
Key
Responsibilities:
* Leading audits from the planning stage through to completion
* Supervising and mentoring audit assistants, providing guidance and feedback
* Preparing accounts for non-audit limited companies
* Reviewing accounts prepared by other team members
* Maintaining client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
* Split role: 50% Audit, 50% Accounts Preparation
* Audits primarily based in the Northwest, across sectors such as manufacturing, construction, and recruitment (SME-focused, no listed companies)
* Audit sizes range from small requests to companies with turnovers up to £30 million
* Collaborating with the wider audit group on larger, complex multinational audits
