We are partnering with a highly regarded family-owned manufacturing business in Wakefield to support in their search for a Finance Manager/Financial Controller. This role will form part of the senior leadership team with responsibility for leading and developing a small finance team, and the day-to-day running of the department. The role requires the ability to clearly and effectively communicate to non-finance stakeholders and produce detailed and insightful analysis to support key business decision-making.
Key
Responsibilities:
*
Part of the senior leadership team providing strategic decision-making support.
*
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance team (AP and AR).
*
Preparation of financial statements, P&L, balance sheet etc.
*
Budgeting and forecasting.
*
Variance analysis.
*
Cash flow management.
*
Compliance and risk management.
*
Improvement of financial controls and processes.
*
Support with any ad-hoc projects.
Ideally will be able to demonstrate the below experience;
*
ACCA, CIMA, ACA Qualified or equivalent.
*
Experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment.
*
Experience of leading and developing a small finance team.
*
Knowledge of various ERP systems.
*
Advanced Excel.
