Job Overview

Vilvah is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager - Accounts to lead and oversee our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, demonstrating exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the Finance Team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure sound financial management and compliance.

Financial Planning And Analysis

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification, and revenue/expense analysis.
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analysing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.

Accounting And Reporting

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and statutory reports.
  • Supervise the preparation and filing of all statutory returns and compliance-related documents.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits and liaise with auditors as required.

Cash Flow Management

  • Oversee cash flow management, ensuring the company maintains sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.
  • Optimize the company's financial position through effective management of working capital and investments.

Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure financial integrity.

Team Development

  • Mentor and develop the Finance Team, promoting professional growth and career development.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and innovation.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with senior management to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA, CPA, or CMA certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategic financial management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
