Large multi-billion dollar organization in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Staff Accountant. Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience. Responsibilities:
Assist in the day-to-day Accounting activities, such as month end close, General Ledger maintenance, and Balance Sheet reconciliations
Retrieve necessary data from various accounting systems and process to ensure the timeliness of accounting functions are being managed properly and efficiently
Assist with the year end and continuous monitoring of the budgeting and forecasting process for the business entities
Assist with independent and year end audits
Assist with quarterly inventory control counts and analysis
Produce routine adhoc reports and analysis as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Accounting is required
1-3 years experience total
CPA tracking a plus, not required
Knowledge of Accounting systems a plus, not required
Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Excel
Excellent mathematical aptitude skills
Well organized and detail oriented, resourceful professional
Hybrid role: 3 days in the office, 2 days work from home
