Manage the trial balance, income statement, and balance sheetReconcile balance sheet accounts, including inventory costing and work in progress, monthlyProcess and record adjustment journals with approvalPrepare and report on monthly management accountsPerform day-end, month-end, and year-end procedures on SYSPROManage expense provisions and NedfleetLoad payments on the bank and ensure internal controls for creditorsOversee and manage the Creditors team and ClerksHandle petty cash processing and manage recordkeeping and filingEnsure internal controls at branches are compliant with company standards and legislationUpdate and reconcile fixed asset registers and process monthly depreciationPrepare profit and loss schedules for asset sales or write-offsHandle purchase documents for new assets and manage Instalment Sales AgreementsParticipate in the preparation of the annual audit file and liaise with auditorsAssist in preparing and capturing the annual budget and reviewing variancesSkills & Experience: Experience in the Manufacturing sector, particularly with bill of materials (BOMs) and inventory work in progressMinimum 5-8 years of experience as an Accountant in the Manufacturing or Retail industryProficiency in Syspro is advantageousStrong personality with excellent communication skills Qualification:B.Com Accounting or Management Accounting degree Contact OLIVIA MELTZER on 021 418 1750, quoting the Ref: CTF019241.
