Reporting to: Debtors Manager

The Credit Controller will oversee the day-to-day running of the Cross Border South Africa debtors.

Will be expected to improved efficiencies and continually strive to develop existing processes.

Key Areas on Responsibility

• Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of the company debtors
• Effectively maintaining the debtors accounts in both Winfreight and Pastel
• Ensuring correct invoicing; Pastel & Winfreight
• Ensuring timely payment of debts
• Following up continually on late payments
• Responding to relevant client enquiries
• Establishing relationships with key customers
• Posting and allocating customer receipts daily
• Reconciling debtors accounts as required
• Weekly and monthly reporting on outstanding payments
• Assisting with group debtors as required
• Evaluating new credit requests; running credit reports and providing management with full verified details of potential customer.
• Vetting and opening debtors accounts on Trade shield (Training will be provided)

Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications & Experience

• Pastel working experience is essential.
• Excel at professional level is essential.
• Minimum Credit Management 1.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in similar role.
