Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Credit Analyst - Private Bank at Workassist in Hyderabad. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements of individuals and companies to determine the risk involved in extending credit or lending money. Your day-to-day tasks will include evaluating creditworthiness, preparing credit reports, and making informed recommendations to the management team based on your analysis.

Credit Analyst - Large Corporate Working Capital

Job Summary:

Responsible for diligent credit underwriting of proposals of NBFCs / FIGs as per bank policy, maintaining quality portfolio by efficient processing of all credit proposals & post disbursement credit control. Ensuring timelines in credit appraisal as per policy of the Bank. Close and effective coordination with other departments.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting CIBIL and other checks and internal dedupe as per process.
• Analyzing proposals received from business/sales team and raising and resolving queries as appropriate.
• Conducting pre-appraisal senior management meetings and branch visit.
• Preparation of credit appraisal memo for term loans to NBFCs / FIGs covering various key aspects of Management, Financial, Operational, Portfolio reviews and PAR, Cashflows analysis, Dedupe, etc. within acceptable TAT delivery.
• Recommend appropriate loan amount and present the loan proposal to the credit committee.
• Preparation of draft sanction letter covering all key conditions stipulated.
• Conduct loan utilization checks and monitoring visits at periodic frequency.
• Follow-up with delinquent clients including assessing ongoing early warning signals of existing clients.
• Any other work assigned from time to time.

• Ability to interpret and evaluate financial statements
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Experience in the banking or financial industry is a plus
