Experienced Accountant with a focus on cost accounting, is required in the Winelands area. We require a minimum of 5 years' relevant accounting experience or articles at a registered auditing firm.

Minimum Requirements:

Accounting Degree

Completed Articles OR more than 4 years accounting experience

Understanding of Cost accounting & standard cost principles

Advanced Excel

Experience / exposure to forex payments/transactions

Duties and Responsibilities:
Producer Accounts Payable:

• Comprehensive management of producer creditors process.
• Accurate capture and adjustment of produce and associated costs.
• Weekly preparation and disbursement of producer payments.
• Timely distribution of payment remittances.
• Detailed reporting on producer payment summaries.
• Efficient ledger management for producer payment deductions.

Financial Management:

• Cashflow optimization and forecasting.
• Monthly standard cost updates.
• Cost invoicing to producers.
• Balance sheet management for standard cost control accounts.
• Diverse financial reporting.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Customer and producer onboarding.
• Commercial invoice and credit note processing.
• Weekly and monthly commercial creditor payments.
• Monthly commercial creditor reporting.
• Additional accounting tasks as needed.
