Job Description
Essence of the job:
The principal consultant will consult to a portfolio of clients and needs to be abreast of legislative developments, provide appropriate advice to their clients and ensure the smooth running of their portfolio of funds.
Qualification:
Relevant Degree (NQF Level 8) / RPL validated by SAQA will be considered

Minimum Requirements:
Over 10 years employee benefits consulting experience.
Set an annual year plan/ client plan per fund and arrange trustee/ management committee meetings and other fund activities and ensuring that this is adhered to
Provision of appropriate advice, excellent client service and project management of critical fund events to ensure the smooth running of the fund
Effective management of service providers and adherence to the standard operating procedures and best practice.
Ensure commissions are being paid correctly and on time
Identify cross sell opportunities and support KAM within the branch
Support retaliation strategy
Foster a good working relationship with clients, staff, manager, internal divisions and colleagues
Attend training sessions with external providers
Develop and maintain relationships with clients
