Introduction
To Manage the Risk and FICA department
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Identifying fraud syndicates;
  • Assessing clients;
  • Overseeing FICA and ensuring we stay in-line with FIC regulations;
  • Auditing bets;
  • Monitoring retail;
  • Monitoring of back offices, to ensure correct information is reported;
  • Liaising with Payments, Audits teams and compliance;
  • Liaising with gambling boards in regards to any complaints;
  • Address all major customer complaints;
  • Manage team performance and conduct;
  • Ensuring that all SLA's are met;
  • Ensuring a zero-handover policy;
  • Managing teams and rosters accordingly;
  • Introducing new Protocols and Procedures;
  • Ensuring AML and CFT are monitored closely;
  • Identifying and report issues and losses on casino and sports bets;
  • Oversight of supporting departments on the floor;
  • Monitoring of all systems and activities of all staff;


Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Grade 12 (matric certificate required);
  • Tertiary Education (Advantageous);
  • Risk Management Qualification (Preferred);
  • 3-5 years' experience in a betting company (an advantage).

Skills, knowledge and other requirements:
  • Good telephone etiquette;
  • Good command of English language (read, speak and write);
  • Able to focus for extended periods of time;
  • Able to manage time effectively;
  • Willing to assist;
  • Ability to respond appropriately to unexpected challenges and shifting priorities;
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Excellent understanding of FICA & FIC regulations
