Job Description
A leading manufacturer seeks an energetic Accounts Payable Accountant for their Cape Town finance team. You need to have experience in foreign and local payables and have strong analytical skills. You will manage high-volume invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting the company's growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the AP invoicing process
• Reconcile supplier payment reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile account payable ledgers
• Manage the month-end closing process for Account payable modules
• Oversee supplier management
• Manage AP-related audit queries
• Ensure compliance with payment terms and negotiate favourable terms
• Generate reports on Accounts Payable activities and expense allocations

Requirements:

• BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable
• Experience with Syspro and TrailD (advantageous)
• Proficient in MS Office and specifically in MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliable data
• Flexibility and willingness to support cross-functional finance activities or projects
