About the Role:

  • Seeking a dynamic and result-orientated Financial Manager to join a dynamic team in the Retail environment. Responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining effective financial controls.
Minimum requirements:

  • BCom Honours (Financial Management)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a financial management role preferable in the retail industry
  • Advanced financial reporting and analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multipe priorities

  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage and develop teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly and long term financial reporting processes
  • Manage budgets, forecasting and cashflow
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls, evaluate financial systems
  • Feasibility studies
  • Foster strong relationships with business units through effective communication
  • Oversee general ledger functions and ensure data integrity
  • Drive a customer-centric approach within the finance function
  • Manage and develop the finance team
