We're seeking a future team member for the role of Manager,Trustee & Depositary to join our Fund Oversight, Trustee & Depositary team. This role is located in Edinburgh and is Hybrid.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Management of Operational Team within Trust & Depositary - Responsible for the achievement of team objectives.

Assist Head of Fund Operations UK with all internal and external audits inspections
Represents the business at Client Diligence and Service Reviews
Leads on Projects with the business as required.
Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues and team
Drive forward operational efficiencies and streamline Unit Trust/OEIC administrative processes to increase cost savings and to increase quality and quantity of output. Tasks include data input, banking, account
Ensure appropriate systems, processes, controls, and knowledge is fully embedded in the business function to comply with all UK CASS regulations
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Work experience within the investment funds industry.
Team management experience.
Compliance experience would be advantageous.
Understanding of fund accounting, fund structures and different assets.
Candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail, good interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, in a deadline driven environment. Candidate should be flexible, willing to challenge the status quo, and able to adapt to a changing environment.
