Insight Analyst
Reporting to: Insight Manager
Salary : Competitive
Hours Per Week: 37.5 Hours
Role Purpose
Owning the creation & delivery of actionable insight to deliver true change to our client’s business.
Building relationships across our clients with regular and frequent client contact including commercial presentations, performance reviews and analysis is central to the success of this position.
The role will play a central part in the visualisation of data to ensure that the client receives analysis and measurement in an easy to use and visually engaging format.

Previous Experience With Power BI Desirable But Not Essential
Previous retail and/or FMCG experience desirable

- To build relationships across our Clients with regular and frequent contact including attendance at commercial presentations, performance reviews and analysis
- To build relationships with the Account team and the Insight team
- Ensure great quality of analysis to enable the delivery of a profitable service with a great return on investment for the Client
- To actively identify and exploit the growth opportunities within a highly competitive marketplace
- To support in directing and measuring the field team performance, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead the identification of commercial opportunity in order to direct and challenge client strategy
- To forecast the impact of the field team operation - Size of Prize
- To measure the actual impact of field operations - ROI (Return on Investment)
- To provide analysis and visuals on New product launches and reasoning for success
- To produce and monitor promotional effectiveness, profitable promotions and compliance
- To supply analysis on Price impact
- To measure and analyse the impact of POS (Point of Sale) location
- To deliver distribution compliance and opportunity analysis
- To provide impactful analysis on Planogram compliance
- Support with the analysis of Intervention impact and lost sales opportunity
- Lead the analysis on supply chain operational efficiencies
- Responsible for producing and presenting the findings of analysis to key contacts within Client’s group
- To build and deliver regular data reports to the Client on a frequent basis, ensuring to deliver cutting insight and visual impact
- To take ownership for ensuring all system generated reports are delivered accurately and to an agreed schedule
- To provide and maintain a dynamic call file set driven by EPOS data analytical capability and other third-party data sources
- To consistently utilise territory optimisation and journey planning software
- Regularly read and follow Company policies and procedures at all times. Polices can be found on the intranet or by asking a member of the HR team
- Take personal responsibility to comply with Health & Safety Regulations
- Take responsibility for your own personal development and ensure all mandatory training is completed on time
- Adhere to all General Data Protection Rules and policies (GDPR)
