Community Integrated Care is on an exciting journey of transformation and growth and is looking to recruit a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join the charity on a full time, permanent basis.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: Our Senior Finance Business Partner is our key to financial sustainability - helping Senior Stakeholder to understand their financial data and make really informed, commercially effective decisions to drive our charity's long term strategic objectives. About the Role (list not exhaustive see attached JD) This role will support our charity's Business Development team to achieve our growth targets. The role will require a really broad understanding of our charity's operations, structure, and financial models to develop, analyse, and evaluate new business opportunities. Ultimately, this role is responsible for understanding, analysing, and interpreting complex commercial finance data across the charity, or within their area of responsibility and explaining this in a way that is really easy for others to understand.
Day to day you will:
  • Partner Senior Leaders in the organisation to make informed, financially sustainable, and commercially effective decisions through the provision, interpretation, and reporting of accurate MI, ensuring that information is operationally sound.
  • Having brilliant conversations - working with senior leaders to really understand our regions, our services, what they need, and coaching them to find great solutions
  • You will be a critical friend - providing financial expertise, insight, and guidance for your stakeholders to shape the delivery of department strategy, and ensure that plans, budgets, forecasts, are aligned to strategic objectives and are financially viable.
  • Driving the financial sustainability of our charity - using creative problem solving skills and providing sound recommendations
  • You'll be supporting our Business Development team to win new business - balancing opportunity, risk, charitable purpose and sustainability
  • Developing new financial models
  • Analysing MI and business data
  • Driving the continuous improvement of our processes and systems so we can continually strive to be better

Your skills and experience
  • You'll have a strong commercial background
  • You'll have experience working as a trusted finance business partner at a senior level and this might be in a large, multi-site environment
  • You might have experience of working in a charity
  • You might have experience working in social care
  • You'll have worked in a fast paced environment, analysing and interpreting complex data sets and financial models
  • You'll be a whizz with MS Excel - pivots, lookups, and formulae are all second nature to you
